Here’s What To Expect When Sending Review Units To 65 Drums

  1. If you want your e-drum product reviewed, email me the specs and a little about the company. I'll provide the shipping address if it fits the 65 Drums audience.

  2. Be aware that I don’t make Sponsored Product Showcase videos. I try to be fair and unbiased when reviewing gear, covering the good and bad of each product.

  3. In order for the review to be published on the product’s launch day, please send it 3 weeks in advance. That way I have enough time to make a thorough video. Unless a publication date is specifically agreed upon beforehand, please allow me to take the time needed to make the best video I can.

  4. The brand does not get to see or approve the video before publication. This helps keep the channel independent and unbiased.

  5. Once I receive the product, I'll create a video. But if the product is poorly constructed, doesn't work as advertised, breaks during normal use, or other unforeseen situations, I reserve the right to cancel the video. This is rare, but in the past I’ve received some low quality drums that have prompted this disclaimer.

  6. Please refrain from sending prototypes. Waiting until the product is fully finished and matches the customer version is best. Prototypes often have minor design issues that were resolved in the final release.

  7. I avoid collaborating with drum companies that require final video edit approval before publication. This helps keep 65 Drums independent and less biased.

  8. Let me know upfront if I should keep the review unit or return it after the video. If I don't receive a shipping label within 60 days, I'll assume the product is for me to keep.
